Report on libraries for publishers

New to me but published in August 2006: The Electronic Publishers Sservices (EPS) report on libraries.
It costs money but there is a free abstract.

Reminded again today how cool E41st street (a WorldCat.org mashup with Amazon) is. Maybe I will see if he wants to do an interview here on It's All Good...

The URL for the publishers report does not work.

Can you elaborate a bit on how E41ST is a Worldcat.org mashup? It wasn't clear to me from looking at the site that it was using Worldcat. It looks like it is trying to communicate directly with local library catalogs.

Thanks. Try this link for the publisher report.

Emily, your're right. It turns out E41st is not a WorldCat mash-up--it's built on individual library catalogs right now. I talked with Amit over e-mail and he explained how it worked.

Of course, in the process I also found out that right now, WorldCat wasn't exactly mash-able except through the OCLC Research contest.

So I quite unknowingly re-started conversations around mashups and feasibility and timing...
